20 KM Solo LSD from Dasma to Silang Cavite

TAGS: None

If I get to wake up early tomorrow and the weather will permit it, I’ll do my solo LSD from home to Silang Interchange and going back. Using Google Earth, I noticed that my route would be a total of 20KM. I plan to do at least one LSD a week, one tempo run a week and speed workout to prepare my self for a marathon on October (still thinking if Milo or QC International Marathon). Dasma is not really a running city so I expect to be running alone.

Hoping that things will work out fine tomorrow and no dogs will bother me.

Expectations from this LSD
* increase my leg muscle strength, endurance and aerobic fitness
* observe surroundings
* meditate and communicate with God
* plan life

    wow, you really are hard at work preparing for your first marathon. it’s really cool that you’re using such a structured program(mix of runs, etc) and that you have the discipline to follow and carry it out. hehe i only wish i’d have your discipline. if you keep it up i really can’t see how your first full would not be a success. so good luck to you and keep it up!

    Hi Wilson!

    Thank you for your positive response. Do you attend Mizuno trainings at BHS? If my memory served me right, I once used you as a moving target during one of the runs there. I was just 2 meters ahead of you on the first and 2nd loop ( I know you were aware I was pacing with you as you kept on looking at me) but on the third loop, you run faster and I ended up eating all your dust together with your partner. Hahahaha!

    Regards,
    Sam

    Hi Neil,

    OO nga eh, there was a group of construction worker in Silang I passed by during the run. One of them was joking “pare adik yan, adik!!”. I guess I’m really now a running addict hahahah

    Nice Sam. Okay na training structure yan. Including raceday sunday 4x a week runner ka na. Also, a tempo run is a speed workout :) So make sure to factor in a recovery run after your race :) Good luck and hope to see you at one of the upcoming races!
