Finally the long wait is over. The result of the Paa-Tibayan Race can be found at takbo.ph website. As expected, the outcome is somewhat questionable. My name, even my number was not there. So there I am, non-existent on that race event! Hahahaha! I need to speak with their people to search for my official time. Some blogger-runners also got wrong result. For instance, Jonel’s 42k result is 3:11 which is beyond his ability according to his post and to quote him “how can you get sooooo incompetent beyond comprehension?”.
I hope Botak will work on their future races. Most of the runner’s experience was just so bad boycotting their future races might be their only option.

Hi Sam. Sorry to hear about the results but it shouldn’t be surprising. I did see a photo of you and your post is consistent with other bloggers regarding what happened on Sunday. Hopefully, the race organizers will realize their downfall and make it better the next time around.
Congratulations again on your expereince. You and the runners at takbo.ph are doing great! Please don’t let this deter you guys from other races because there are some very good ones in the Phils with good race organizers! Take care and have a good weekend.

hi sam, too bad wala ang name mo sa result. ako din nga mali ang finish time ko pati si hubby. may discrepancy sa akin ng 6minutes at kay hubby ng 30+minutes. hay, grabe talaga. paano naman yung ibang mga runners na walang watch d ba? hope the race organizers would do something about this.

@Wayne,
THanks for your encouragement. I guess its just a reality of all races here in the Philippines. There would always be “lapses” but this particular race got it so badly.
@Let,
I hope they learn and improve next time. Thanks for the feedback.
@Jonel
Yeah finally got mine when I called. It’s 2:35 hahahaha! Not a record I can really be proud of *laughs*. Will improve next time.
