Philippine Dental Association is a non-stock, non-profit association founded in 1908. We believe that complete grasp of knowledge of each dental practitioner coupled with professionalism forms as a vital component in the moral values of a good dentist. Therefore, the promotion of the standards and values in the dental profession to improve the quality of life of our people can be effectuated only by men and women who think about the world of their fellowmen as they practice their respective specializations. A dentist’s ethical duties are to his community where he must perform to the best of his ability, to the profession to which he shares his expertise, and to his patients on whom he applies the tenets of the Golden Rule. With this, we can give a share of ourselves in the pursuance of our vowed mission to serve God and our people.

In line with our mission of serving our people, we are highlighting our 8th National Dental Health Month with a 3K, 5K and 10K Fun Run dubbed as, “PDA – Pilipinas Darating Ako, Isang Fun Run Para sa Kalusugan: A Call for National Unity”. It will be held on February 19, 2012 (Sunday), 4:30am at the Cuneta Astrodome, Pasay City. We are expecting 6,000 participants for the Fun Run alone. The fun run’s proceeds will go to our chapters, the VIP (Very Important Patient) Program, and the PDA BINHI (Bawat Isa Nangangako Habangbuhay Iingatan) Reforestation Program. We declare: One Runner, One Seedling.
